Žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai T. Kosciuškos g. 3

LT2004 m. LP vykdė žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrinėjimus Vilniuje, pastatų komplekso T. Kosciuškos g. 3, priklausančio LNM, trečiajame korpuse. Tyrinėjimai susiję su pastato remonto ir drenažo sistemos įrengimo darbais. Pastato rūsyje (cokoliniame aukšte) dviejose patalpose planuota apie 0,2 m pažeminti grindų lygį bei patalpų pasieniais iškasti griovius drenažo sistemai [p. 234].

ENIn 2004 an area of 20 m2 was investigated in the cellar o f the third block of the building complex located at the T. Kosciuškos Str. 3 (Vilnius) called the Horains’ House. A fragment of floor paved with stones and a thin cultural layer of about 30 cm containing finds of the 17th (16th?)- 20th century were found. Artefacts collected during the survey comply with historical information saying that the building was built in the mid 18th century. Nevertheless some finds and remains o f earlier foundations imply that the site could have been inhabited already in the 16th-17th century.
