Summary / Abstract:

LT2004 m. ŠMA atliko žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrinėjimus Telšių senamiestyje (A 1397), Šviesos g. 3-1, kur buvo vedami lauko komunikacijų tinklai. 2004 m. tyrinėtas plotas yra Turgaus aikštės R pakraštyje. Žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrimai Šviesos g. jau vykdyti ir anksčiau [p. 208].

ENIn 2004 the ŠMA performed an archaeological survey of the old town of Telšiai at the Šviesos Str. 3-1 where the underground communications network was constructed. In the 19.3 m long trench the structured layers were established. The total area of 9.7 m2 was investigated. In the trench section parallel to the S. Daukanto Str. above the preceding communications trenches an intermixed cultural layer was found. It contained potshards typical to the 17th-19th century and a fragment of a flat stove-tile with a continuous ornament.
