Jėzuitų skersgatvio tyrinėjimai

LT2004 m. kapitaliai remontuoti seni ir kloti nauji lietaus ir fekalinės kanalizacijos bei vandentiekio vamzdžiai Kauno senamiesčio 8 kvartale, Jėzuitų skersgatvyje. Pokaryje klojant šias trasas archeologiniai tyrinėjimai nebuvo vykdomi, didžioji dalis archeologinių sluoksnių buvo sunaikinti, neatliekant archeologinės priežiūros ir fiksacijos. Jėzuitų skersgatvyje tirtas plotas - 170 m2 apsiribojo vandentiekio ir kanalizacijos 84 m ilgio ir apie 2 m pločio trasa [p. 199].

ENIn 2004 in the path of water and sewage pipeline to be laid in the Jėzuitų Lane area of 170 m2 was investigated. During the investigation 4 horizons of the cultural layer were established. They date to the late 14th-early 15th century, the mid 15th-the first half of the 16th century, the mid 16th-the first half of the 17th century and the 17th-early 18th century. Shards of flat and vessel-shaped stove-tiles and wheel-made pottery were found, and remains of a cellar were discovered.
