Tyrimai Anykščiuose

LT2004 m. LII MTS vykdė didelės apimties archeologinius tyrinėjimus Anykščių senojo miesto vietoje (A 1400). Tyrimai inžinerinių tinklų klojimo bei renovacijos vietose buvo vykdomi AB "VITI" užsakymu. Jų metu senojo miesto vietoje ištirti 42 šurfai ir 8 perkasos, iš viso 999,8 m2 [p. 190].

ENIn 2004 in the territory of the old town of Anykščiai the LII MTS performed large-scale archaeological investigations. The total area of 999.8 m2 was investigated. In the old town an up to 3 m thick cultural layer of the 16th-20th century was established. In the sections of the S. Dariaus and S. Girėno Str. and Kęstučio Str. not included into the protected territory of the old town undisturbed cultural layer up to 1.8 m thick datable to the 17th-20th century was discovered. The finds consisted of bones and pottery.
