LT2004 m. VU tęsė Grabijolų (Žemaitiškių) pilkapyno II tyrinėjimus (žr. ATL 2001 metais, V., 2002, p. 92-93; ATL 2002 metais, V., 2005, p. 72; ATL 2003 metais, V., 2005, p. 94). Ištirtas vienas perartas miško priešgaisrinės juostos pilkapis 4(69) pilkapyno R pakraštyje (iš viso 100 m2), apaugusioje jaunomis pušaitėmis pievoje, po buvusio (sunykusio) dvaro langais [p. 83].
ENIn 2004 in the eastern part of the Grabijolai (Žemaitiškės) (Vilnius district) barrow cemetery II one barrow No. 4(68) with a destroyed stone circle was excavated. Three cremation graves with iron, bronze and clay artefacts were found in the central part of the barrow. In the female grave No. 1 a clay spindle-whorl and a bronze spiral ring were found. In the central grave an iron shield boss, a battle-axe, a spearhead, a knife, a B-shaped buckle and a bronze spiral ring were found. In the male grave No. 3 only an iron spearhead was found. The investigated barrow is typical to the Eastern Lithuanian Barrow Culture and datable to the 6th century A. D.
