Gudelių (Lenkiškių) pilkapynas

LT2002 m. atnaujinti Gudelių (Lenkiškių) pilkapyno (Vilniaus r.) (A 1237P) tyrinėjimai (žr. ATL 2002 melais, V., 2005, p. 69-72; ATL 2003 metais, V., 2005, p. 91-93) buvo tęsiami 2004 m. Pilkapyno teritoriją kertančioje aukštos įtampos elektros linijos proskynoje po 1987-1989 m. bei 2002 ir 2003 m. vykdytų tyrinėjimų liko trijų buldozeriu nustumdytų pilkapių liekanos ir šeši suplokštėję pilkapiai. 2004 m. ištirtas pilkapis 9(56), buvęs elektros linijos proskynoje, bei dvi perkasos 2003 m. buldozeriu pažeistoje paminklo teritorijos dalyje. Iš viso ištirtas 171,25 m2 plotas (121,25 m2 - pilkapio teritorijoje). Tyrinėjimai vykdyti pagal KVAD žalojamų archeologijos vertybių tyrimų programą [p. 80].

ENIn 2004 in the Gudeliai (Lenkiškės) (Vilnius district) barrow cemetery the destroyed barrow No. 9(56) and two sites of 25 m2 each were investigated. The barrow was found to have a stone circle. No intact graves were found in the barrow, except of a few small cremated bones and two fragments of a clay spindle. The investigated barrow is typical to the East Lithuanian Barrow Culture and is dated to the middle or the 2nd half of the 1st millennium A. D. Excavations also revealed remains of earlier settlements. Artefacts typical to the Mesolithic and Iron Age were found. At both sites remains of a cultural layer belonging to a manor or a village datable from the 2nd half of the 17th century to the 18th (19th?) century, was discovered.
