Tikėjimo ir žinojimo problema P. Tillicho filosofinėje teologijoje : disertacija

LTDisertacijoje sprendžiama tikėjimo ir žinojimo problema, tyrinėjant vieno žymiausių XX a. mąstytojų Pauliaus Tillicho filosofinę teologiją. Nagrinėjamos tos Tillicho intencijos ir jų įgyvendinimo būdai, kurių dėka galėtume perteikti originalų tikėjimo ir žinojimo problemos sprendimą, taip reflektuodami religijos bei kultūros sambūvio, filosofijos ir teologijos statuso klausimus. I skyrius skirtas rekonstruoti Tillicho filosofinės teologijos tikslus ir metodus. „Tikėjimo“ ir „žinojimo“ sąvokų analizė parodo, kad epistemologines užduotis Tillichas sprendžia vardan ontologinių tikslų. II ir III skyriuose kritiškai analizuojama, kaip ontologinį ir hermeneutinį Tillicho filosofinės teologijos „projektus“ aktualizuoja koreliacijos metodas, atidengiantis implicitiškai hermeneutinį teologijos pobūdį. Tillicho iškeltas metodologinis postulatas, teigiantis, kad apreiškimas negali prieštarauti žinojimui, gautam dėka filosofinės Dasein refleksijos, žmogaus patirties analizę padaro determinuojančiu filosofinės teologijos veiksniu. Pagrindinis Tillicho sistemos keblumas, supriešinantis jį su tradicine teologine paradigma, yra nesugebėjimas pademonstruoti, kad toks Dievo transcendentiškumas yra kažkas daugiau, nei vien filosofinė tam tikros (absoliuto) patirties turinio eksplikacija. Nors klausimas, kurį kelia Tillichas, yra ontologinis, tačiau specifiškai suprastas. Tai gyvenimo integralumo žvelgiant iš žmogaus perspektyvos klausimas. Šios perspektyvos sinoptinį vaizdą teikia filosofija, o teologija reaguoja į tokios perspektyvos iššūkius pateikdama simbolių hermeneutiką.

ENThe dissertation deals with the problem of knowledge and belief by examining the philosophical theology of one of the most prominent thinkers of the twentieth century Paul Tillich. It examines those of Tillich’s intentions and methods of implementation which would enable us to offer an original solution to the problem of knowledge and belief, thereby reflecting on the issues of the coexistence of religion and culture, as well as the status of philosophy and theology. The first chapter aims to reconstruct the goals and the methods of Tillich’s philosophical theology. An analysis of the concepts of “belief” and “knowledge” shows that the epistemological puzzles are solved by Tillich for the sake of ontological goals. The second and the third chapters provide a critical analysis of the ontological and the hermeneutical “projects” of Tillich’s philosophical theology. Tillich’s methodological postulate that the revelation may not contradict knowledge, which is derived from the philosophical reflection on Dasein, makes the analysis of human experiences a determining factor in philosophical theology. The main difficulty in Tillich’s system, which puts it in conflict with the traditional theological paradigm, is the inability to show that such God’s transcendence is something more than just a philosophical explanation of the content of a certain experience (of the absolute). Although the question raised by Tillich is ontological, it is understood in a peculiar way – as a question of the integrity of life from human perspective. Philosophy provides the synoptic view of this perspective, while theology responds to its challenges by providing the hermeneutics of symbols.
