Vingrių šaltinių aplinka Vilniuje

LT2006 m. buvo atliekami žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrinėjimai Vilniuje, buvusių Vingrių šaltinių versmių aplinkoje. Tyrinėjimai vyko teritorijoje, kurioje planuojami kvartalo rekonstrukcijos darbai [p. 438].

ENDuring field evaluation 10 test pits (with a total excavated area of 45.81 m2) were excavated in the vicinity of Vingriai springs in Vilnius. A 17th–20th century cultural layer was recorded and household pottery sherds, fragments of glass artefacts, the remains of metal artefacts, and coins were found. Fragments of wooden water pipes, through which water flowed from Vingriai springs, were discovered. Fragments of two brick structures probably connected with the exploitation of Vingriai springs were unearthed. The excavations provided information about the water pipe construction that occurred at this location.
