Šiuolaikinė lietuvių juvelyrika tarptautiniame taikomosios dailės kontekste : disertacija

LTDisertacijoje nagrinėjami XX amžiaus 7-10-ąjį dešimtmečiais Lietuvos juvelyrikoje vykę meniniai pokyčiai, svarbiausių kūrėjų indėlis į šios šakos modernėjimo procesus. Poslinkiai analizuojami papuošalo sampratos kaitos aspektu, vertinami – tarptautiniame taikomosios dailės ieškojimų kontekste. Studija atskleidžia lietuvių juvelyrikos, kuri tik nuo 7-ojo dešimtmečio tapo profesionalia meno disciplina, vystymosi savitumą, kurį, iš vienos pusės, sąlygojo vietos meno raidos ypatumai ir sąveika su taikomosios dailės bendrosiomis slinktimis, funcionalistine, organine bei kultūrine kryptimis, iš kitos – mūsų dailininkų domėjimasis Vakarų juvelyrikos naujovėmis. Tai leido net ir turint nedidelį kūrėjų skaičių šiai sričiai neprarasti savasties, o atsivėrus naujoms galimybėms po Nepriklausomybės atgavimo, pilnavertiškai įsilieti į tarptautinį meno gyvenimą, kompensuojant XX a. I p. ir sovietmečiu patirtus raidos netolygumus. Pagrindinė darbe keliama problema – modernizmo ir postmodernizmo sandūra lietuvių juvelyrikoje, kuri šią dailės sritį leidžia išryškinti ne tik kaip savitą meninį fenomeną, bet bendrųjų kultūros ir meno procesų dalyvę, kartu suteikdama galimybę šiam tyrimui integruotis su kitais XX amžiaus kultūros tyrinėjimais. Be to, modernizmo ir postmodernizmo virsme iškilusi taikomosios dailės meninio vertinimo problema galėtų pasitarnauti šiandien vis aktualesne tampančiai diskusijai dėl naujų jos vertinimo kriterijų poreikio. ENThe dissertation deals with artistic changes that took place in Lithuanian jewellery in the 7th-10th decades of the 20th century, the contribution of main masters to the processes of modernisation of this branch. Changes are analysed from the aspect of changes in understanding of a decoration, and are evaluated within the context of searches of applied art. The study reveals the peculiarities of the development of Lithuanian jewellery, which became a professional art discipline in the 7th decade only. On the one hand this development was determined by the peculiarities of the development of local art and its interaction with general changes in applied art, in functional, organic, and cultural directions, and by interest that our artists took in novelties of Western jewellery on the other hand. This enabled this branch of art to survive despite a small number of creators, and after new possibilities had opened up after the re-establishment of Independence, to join the international life of art. The main problem raised in the work is a combination of modernism and post-modernism in Lithuanian jewellery, which allows this branch of art to be revealed not only as an original artistic phenomenon but also as a participant in general processes of culture and art. Moreover, the problem of artistic evaluation in applied art could serve today the discussion, which is becoming ever more urgent, about the need for the new criteria for its evaluation.
