Utenos rytinio aplinkkelio žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai

LTUAB „Kelprojektas“ užsakymu 2006 m. vykdyti Utenos R aplinkkelio (0,0–2,7 km) (Utenos r.), esančio tarp kelių 4902 Utena–Tauragnai–Kirdeikiai ir A6 Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis, žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrinėjimai. Trasa prasideda į Š nuo kelio Tauragnai–Kirdeikiai, apie 150 m į R nuo geležinkelio, baigiasi atsiremdama į kelią Utena–Daugpilis, į R nuo degalinės „Bulius“. Apie 1,500 km jos ruožas iki kelio Kloviniai–Pramonės rajonas suprojektuotas ariamais laukais ir pievomis [p. 468].

ENIn 2006 a field evaluation was conducted of the Utena E bypass (Utena Dist.) located between road 4902 Utena–Tauragnai–Kirdeikiai and A6 Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugavpils. During it an area 14 m2 in size was excavated: 2 test pits, 1 m2 each, and 1 trench 12 m2 in size, in the N part of the old Kloviniai cemetery 100 m to the NW of the Industrial District – Bajorai road and 17.5 m to the E of the Kloviniai–Draničėnai road. The surface of the ground has been very substantially churned up in the territory of the cemetery. In surveying it human bones were even found on the surface of the ground. In test pit 1, 3 badly disturbed inhumations were found. 2 were the burials of females, 1 of whom had apparently been buried together with a newborn, and 1 was of a male. All of them had been buried on their backs. No grave goods were discovered. The old cemetery extends in every direction from the trench. The preliminary size of the cemetery territory is over 2000 m2, which should be excavated prior to the road’s construction.
