Žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai ir žvalgymai Šv. Stepono g. 29

LT2005–2006 m. vykdyti žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrinėjimai ir archeologiniai žvalgymai Vilniuje, Šv. Stepono g. 29. Sklype numatytos statybos – buvusio užstatymo atkūrimas. Planuojama statyti gyvenamąjį namą su komercinės paskirties patalpomis. Nagrinėjamas sklypas yra Vilniaus senamiesčio 84 kvartalo teritorijoje [p. 404-405].

ENIn 2005–2006 a field evaluation and field survey were made in Vilnius at Šv. Stepono St. 29. The evaluation was conducted first. 4 test pits were excavated (an excavated area of 17 m2). In them were discovered the remains of a brick structure dating to the late 19th – 1st half of the 20th century: the remains of basements filled with rubble and fragments of ground floor floors and walls. No finds of archaeological value were discovered. The cultural layer’s early horizons were probably destroyed during construction work in the 19th – 20th century. Because no cultural layer was found, the investigation was thereafter restricted to a field survey (an area of 1829 m2 was surveyed). No cultural layer or valuable finds were discovered during it.
