Žvalgymai Vilniaus senojo miesto vietoje

LT2006 m. LP vykdë archeologinius žvalgymus Vilniaus senojo miesto vietoje, pastato Žygimantų g. 3 vidiniame kieme, Žygimantų g., T. Vrublevskio g. ir Karaliaus Mindaugo paminklo zonoje. Žvalgymai susiję su elektros kabelių tranšėjos kasimu [p. 387].

ENIn 2006 the LP conducted a survey in Vilnius Old Town in the courtyard of the building at Žygimantų St. 3, on Žygimantų and T. Vrublevskio Sts., and in the area of the monument to King Mindaugas in connection with the excavation of an electric cable trench. A 278 m long route was surveyed (a total area of 164.02 m²). A mixed cultural layer, through which utility lines had already been laid, was discovered. 17th–20th century finds were found: pottery sherds, stove, roof, and floor tile fragments, metal and glass artefacts, and 19th–20th century coins.
