LT2006 m. KPIP vykdë žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrimus keturiose Utenos senamiesčio (A 1802) vietose [p. 361].
ENIn 2006 an evaluation was conducted at 4 locations in Utena Old Town (A 1802): the site of the utility line between Þalgirio and Gedimino Sts., on Vilniaus St., on Lukšio St., and at the site of the utility line from Gegužės St. to Vilniaus St. A 17th–19th century cultural layer containing pottery and stove tile sherds was recorded in the majority of the excavated test pits. Of the more rarely encountered finds, a clay pipe bowl should be mentioned.
