Žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai Trakų senamiestyje

LT2006 m. LII MTS ekspedicija atliko žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrinėjimus Trakų senojo miesto vietoje (A 1783), Birutės g. 40, Vytauto g. 53 ir Vytauto g. 89 [p. 350].

ENIn 2006 the LII MTS conducted evaluations in Trakai at Birutės St. 40, Vytauto St. 53, and Vytauto St. 89. 5 test pits with a total area of 11.25 m2 were excavated in the lot at Birutės St. 40. A cultural layer up to 180 cm thick and dating to the late 15th–20th centuries was recorded in them. A storage pit with pottery characteristic to the late 15th – early 16th century was found in test pit 2. 2 test pits and 1 trench with a total area of 34.62 m2 were excavated in the lot at Vytauto St. 53. A cultural layer up to 182 cm thick and dating to the 15th–20th centuries was recorded during the evaluation. 19th–20th century paving and two 15th–16th century storage pits with pottery were found. 3 test pits were excavated at Vytauto St. 89 (a total area of 6.75 m2). A cultural layer up to 200 cm thick and dating to the 17th–20th centuries was recorded.
