Žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai Žvejų g. 24

LT2006 m. Klaipėdoje, šalia piliavietės teritorijos, prie pastato Žvejų g. 24, vyko archeologiniai žvalgomieji tyrimai. Jų tikslas buvo prieš pradedant pastato Žvejų g. 24 (XIX a. antroje pusėje statytas sandėlis) rekonstravimo-atstatymo darbus, išžvalgyti vietas, kuriose pagal suderintą projektą numatoma kasti duobes inžinerinių tinklų šuliniams [p. 337].

ENIn 2006 a total area of 28 m2 was excavated in Klaipėda beside the territory of the castle site and near the building at Žvejų St. 24. In it sterile soil, which had been placed there in the 19th – early 20th century in forming the bank of the River Danė and the wooden harbour, was discovered at a depth of up to 2.5–3 m. A fragment of a construction built of sandstone blocks and lime mortar, the date of which is uncertain, was discovered at the N edge of test pit 6.
