Pramonės architektūra Lietuvoje 1920-1940 metais: istorinė raida, stilistiniai ypatumai, kultūrinė reikšmė : disertacija

LTPoindustrinėje visuomenėje pramonės paveldas iš kultūros paveldo marginalijos išaugo į svarbią kultūros paveldo sritį. Kompleksiniai įvairių mokslo sričių specialistų tyrimai parodė, kad tai - reikšmingas kultūros ir civilizacijos objektas, kuriame susipina meninės, technologinės ir socialinės moderniosios epochos idėjos. Akademiniuose tyrimuose aktualizuojamas pramonės ir modernizmo santykis, kadangi industrializacijos nulemtos modernistinės tendencijos socialinėje ir meninėje aplinkoje stipriai paveikė Europos ir JAV visuomenes bei paskatino naujų vertybių įsigalėjimą. Šiuo požiūriu ypač įdomu pažvelgti į Lietuvos Respublikos istoriją 1918-1940 m. Pastangos sukurti naują krašto ekonomiką, paremtą vietine pramone, išreiškė siekį sukurti naują atgimusios valstybės identitetą bei modernizuoti visuomenę. Būtent šiuo aspektu svarbu ištirti, kokį vaidmenį pramonė ir pramonės architektūra suvaidino modernizuojant šalį, kaip pasikeitė architektūra industrializacijos įtakoje. Analizuojant minėtuosius klausimus, neišvengiamai tenka išsiaiškinti kokie architektai, biurai ir konstruktoriai kūrė pramonės architektūrą Lietuvoje ir kokios buvo jų estetinės nuostatos. Išryškinami pagrindiniai objektai, ryškiausiai liudijantys industrializacijos ir modernizacijos procesus, atskleidžiama jų reikšmė šiandien. Visi šie klausimai nagrinėjami disertacijoje, pagrįstoje pirmąkart atliktu išsamiu Lietuvos pramonės architektūros tyrimu. [Iš leidinio]

ENThe heritage of industry grew from being on the margins of cultural heritage into an important sphere of cultural heritage in post-industrial society. Integrated research by experts of various scientific fields have shown, that this is an important object of culture and civilization, in which artistic, technological, and social ideas of the modern era are interweaved. In academic research, the relationship between industry and modernism is made relevant, as modernist trends determined by industrialisation in a social and artistic environment that strongly affected the societies of Europe and the US and encouraged the entrenchment of new values. From this viewpoint, it is especially interesting to glance back at the history of the Republic of Lithuania during 1918-1940. Efforts to create a new economy for the country, supported by local industry, expressed a goal of creating a new identity for the reborn state, and modernising society. It is precisely from this aspect that it is important to examine what kind of role industry and industrial architecture played in modernising the country, and how architecture changed under the influence of industrialisation. In analysing the afore-mentioned questions, inevitably one must clarify which architects, offices and engineers created industrial architecture in Lithuania and what their aesthetic rules were. The main objects that most clearly attest to the processes of industrialisation and modernisation are brought to light, as is their meaning today. All of these questions are examined in this dissertation, based on exhaustive research carried out for the first time on Lithuanian industrial architecture.
