Vidiškių dvarvietė

LT2006 m. vyko žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrimai Vidiškių dvaro sodybos (G 15K) (Ignalinos r., Vidiškių sen.) teritorijoje. Šiuo metu pradėtas dvaro sodybos atgaivinimo projektas. Tyrimus užsakë privatus asmuo. Tyrimų tikslas – šurfuojant numatomos buitinių nuotekų tranšėjos vietoje, rūmų pastato rūsiuose bei rūmų kieme išsiaiškinti, ar yra vertingas kultūrinis sluoksnis, o ją radus nustatyti intensyvumą. Tyrimų pobūdį ir apimtis nulėmė architekto-projektuotojo išsakyti pageidavimai ir užsakovo finansinės galimybės. Pirminiame etape buvo ištirtas bendras 40,5 m2 plotas – iš viso 12 šurfų ir 1 perkasa. Nustačius, kad dvaro rūmų ŠR pusėje gali būti archeologiškai vertingas kultūrinis sluoksnis, papildomai būsimų buitinių nuotekų tranšėjos vietoje ištirtos dar 3 perkasos (bendras 29,35 m2 plotas) [p. 203].

ENIn 2006, a total area of 69.75 m2 (12 test pits and 4 trenches) was excavated in the manor house courtyard, basement, and office wing at Vidiškės manor, Ignalina Dist. A cultural layer up to 0.9–1.4 m thick with finds dating to the 17th–20th centuries was discovered in the test pits and trenches excavated in the vicinity of the manor house. The cultural layer in the greater part of the manor grounds has been badly disturbed during later earth moving work but a mixed layer up to 30–40 cm with few finds, which it is possible to connect with the estate’s prosperous period (17th–18th century), was discovered in the E part of the manor house courtyard under a 60–70 cm thick mixed cultural layer. The remains of a dirt floor were discovered in two of the four rooms of the manor house. An undisturbed layer of grey earth with finds dating to the 17th–18th centuries was discovered in the office wing under mixed layers that are 120 cm thick. A stone construction with an uncertain purpose that had been erected before the office wing was built was discovered in the wing’s basement.
