Kr.), viduramžių (XIV a. II pusė-XV a. pradžia), Naujųjų ir Naujausiųjų laikų (XVII-XX a.) artefaktai, kurių didžiąją dalį sudaro vėlyvi XIX-XX a. I pusės radiniai (inventorinti 271 vienetai - 47,3 %). Žvalgymuose dalyvavo metalo ieškotojų klubų MINK (13 asmenų, vadovas Emilijus Petukauskas) ir Pasvalio artefaktų ieškotojų klubo „Metalo broliai“ (8-12 asmenų, prezidentas Giedrius Armonavičius) nariai [p. 488].
ENThe Battle of Saločiai, one of the bigger engagements in the first stage (1700-1705) of the Great Northern War (1700-1721) and a Swedish victory, occurred on 19(29) March 1703 between the town of Saločiai (for which the battle was named) and Šakarniai village (Pasvalys District, NE Lithuania). The 2022 field survey (roughly 55 ha) in the fields in the S part of Šakarniai village and the W part of Murziškis hamlet yielded 573 finds from the Early Bronze Age (c. 1800 be), Middle Ages (second half of the 14th - early 15th centuries), Modern, and Contemporary Periods (17th-20th centuries), the majority coming from the late 19th - first half of the 20th centuries. The investigation provided valuable (missing) information about the battles course, the contemporary, i. e., early 18th-century weaponry, etc. The survey revealed suspected structures containing finds: 1) the find spot of an early Bronze Age flanged axe (c. 1800 be) the suspected country home of a medieval (second half of the 14th - early 15th century) jeweller, which yielded the billet for a copper alloy ring with a braided head and a similar silver ring; 3) the suspected site of the joint Lithuanian and Russian camp - wagon fort and the line of engagement (850 m) at the 1703 Battle of Saločiai, which yielded bullets, a dagger handle, a small icon, a stirrup, horseshoes, bridle fittings, metal loops, wagon components (?), etc.4) the site of 2-3 17th-19th-century country homes and inns in Šakarniai (170 m to the SE of the jewellers workshop), which yielded various contemporary coins, weights, etc.; 5) 17th - first half of the 20th-century chance finds from the Šakarniai village site (coins, lead weights, etc.); and 6) WWII debris (1944) (shrapnel, oblong bullets). The largest percentage of the finds consisted of various calibre spherical lead bullets followed by lead shrapnel (123 pieces), mementos of WWII (1944), and then by 17th-century - 1961 coins of various denominations and states. 17th -first half of the 20th-century religious artefacts: a piece of a small bronze icon, 5 crosses, and 6 medals, comprised a small fraction of the finds.
