LT2022 m. Vilniaus senamiesčio teritorijoje, Žygimantų g. 13 sklype, planuojamų naujų pastatų statybų vietoje atlikti detalieji tyrimai. Tyrimų metu ištirtos dvi perkasos - 295 m2 plotas [p. 416].
ENThe detailed excavation of two trenches measuring 295 m2 was carried out at 13 Žygimantų St. Under a mixed grey soil and rubble layer from the 20th century, a part of a building dating from the late 18th to the early 19th century was uncovered, which was comprised of three rooms, and fragments of the foundations of later adjoining buildings and annexes built in the late 19th-early 20th centuries were found. The rooms contained various preserved structures, such as a kiln, a heating stove, two ovens of unknown function, floors, columns, and a chimney. Two surfaces of the Pig Alley (Lith. Kiaulių skersgatvis) were also found adjacent to this building: one dating from the late 18th to early 19th century and the other to the 17th century. The buildings discovered during the investigations were demolished and filled in around the mid-20th century. The earliest, a 17th-century layer with finds typical of that period, was found at a depth of 1.6-2.4 m.
