Vilniaus gatvė 41

LT2022 m. Vilniaus g. 41 sklypo teritorijoje UAB „Infes“ planuojamo statyti Lietuvos teatro, muzikos ir kino muziejaus administracinio korpuso, inžinerinių tinklų ir aplinkos įrengimo vietose vykdė grunto kasimo darbus. Prieš juos ir jų metu detaliai ištirtas 34,65 m2 ir žvalgytas 268,63 m2 plotas. Archeologiniai tyrinėjimai sklype vykdyti ne kartą, 2022 m. vykdyti kasinėjimai buvo tiesioginis tęsinys 2021 m. L. Kvizikevičiaus pradėtų tyrimų. Detalieji tyrimai vykdyti sklypo PV dalyje, numatomo statyti pastato pamatų polių gręžimo darbų zonoje [p. 414].

ENIn 2022, a detailed excavation (34.65 m2) and a survey (268.63 m2) were carried out at the land plot of 41 Vilniaus St. The detailed excavation in the SW part of the land plot revealed the presence of archaeological layers dating to the second half of the 17th century, ranging from 1.3-1.7 m depth at the upper level to 2.25-3.75 m depth at the lowest level. The S and N parts of the land plot, down to a depth 0.25-1.7 m, contained mostly levelling deposits or 20th-century fill. Excavation in the S part of the land plot revealed fragments of foundations belonging to buildings constructed before the second half of the 17th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. In the N part, a foundation was uncovered belonging to a building dating to the 18th-19th centuries. Finds were dated in the range of the 16th-20th centuries, but household pottery typical of the 17th century was prevalent in the assemblage.
