LT2022 m. atlikti archeologiniai tyrimai požeminių elektros tinklų trasų vietose Varnių miesto (Telšių r.) Bažnyčios ir Vytauto gatvėse [p. 365].

ENThe 2022 excavation (46.5 m2) and field survey (85.5 m2 to an average depth of 70 cm) on Bažnyčios and Vytauto Streets in the town of Varniai (Telšiai District, W Lithuania) revealed, under the surface 20th-century culturai horizons in the trenches, a 17th-century cultural layer that was 20 cm thick on average, contained contemporaneous finds, and had formed atop sterile soil: sand of various grain sizes, gravel, or clay containing largerstone detritus. Trench 2 exposed a 19th - early 20th-century foundation (preserved in situ) and a stone structure with no clear purpose.
