Vilniaus gatvė

LT2022 m. Ukmergėje atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai planuojamos rekonstruoti Vilniaus gatvės atkarpoje nuo pradžios Š iki sankryžos su Pakalnės ir Paupio gatvėmis. Abiejose gatvės pusėse esančiuose šaligatviuose ištirti 22 šurfai, bendro 49,5 m2 ploto. Tyrimų metu aptiktas 0,2-2,42 m storio XVII-XX a. kultūrinis sluoksnis. XVII-XVIII a. archeologinis sluoksnis ar struktūros aptiktos šurfuose 4-5, 10-12. Šių šurfų tyrimų rezultatai straipsnyje pristatomi kiek plačiau [p. 359].

ENA 2022 field evaluation (22 test pits totalling 49.5 m2) at the site ofthe planned reconstruction in Ukmergė (E Lithuania) of a Vilniaus Street section from its source N to the intersection with Pakalnės and Paupio Streets revealed a 0.2-2.42 m thick, 17th-20th-century cultural layer: in Test Pits 4-5 and 10-12, a 17th-18th-century archaeological layer or structures, in Test Pits 3 and 9 masonry wall fragments from 19th - first half of the 20th-century structures, in Test Pits 9-10 and 21 fragments of 19th - first half of the 20th-century stone paving, and in Test Pit 12 a fragment of a 17th-18th-century wooden well.
