ENDuring the 2022 investigation (field survey and excavation) at Vytauto St. 110 in Palanga (W Lithuania), the survey of roughly 2200 m2 identified a 0.3-1 m thick, 19th-20th-century layer above a layer of whitish aeolian sand that continued down to the predetermined depth of 1 m. At a depth of 40 cm in the NE part of the lot, partially destroyed red brick paving dated to no earlier than 20th century was discovered in the layer ofaeolian sand. From a depth of 0.2 m in the SW part of the lot, an L-shaped stone and concrete foundation created after 1938 was found. The excavation of 1021.9 m2 revealed, from Habs 6.10 m to Habs 6.70 m, an archaeologically valuable 16th-18th-century cultural layer, which varied from 10 to 45 cm thick in the trenches and consisted of a layer of blackish aeolian topsoil with whitish sand and a layer of black humous sand. It contained 296 finds and 490 animal bone, tooth, antler, and horn fragments.
