LT2022 m. buvo atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai Onuškio (UK 17099) senosios turgaus aikštės ir jos aplinkos teritorijoje (Trakų r.), prieš pradedant jos projektavimo ir tvarkymo darbus. Informacijos apie ankstesnius archeologinius tyrimus miestelio centrinėje dalyje nerasta [p. 338].

ENThe 2022 field evaluation (11 test pits totalling 11 m2) in the old market square and the surrounding area in Onuškis (Trakai District, S Lithuania) revealed in Test Pits 1-4 and 11, a 0.1-0.2 m thick archaeological layer horizon containing 16th-17th-century finds: a silver Alexander Jagiellon (1495-1506) denar as well as sherds of earthenware vessels and stove tiles. Test Pit 11, which was excavated in the remains found on the squares NW edge, also yielded foundation fragments from, it is suspected, 16th-17th-century and 19th - early 20th-century structures.
