Tyrinėjimai Tiltų g. 26A

LT2007 m. Klaipėdoje, sklype Tiltų g. 26A, vykdyti archeologiniai tyrinėjimai. Tyrinėtas sklypas patenka į senamiesčio su priemiesčiais teritoriją (NVR unikalus kodas 27077), jis yra buvusio dų g. (vėliau rydricho) priemiesčio P dalyje. Archeologinių tyrinėjimų tikslas buvo ištirti būsimo pastato vietą ir nustatyti archeologinių sluoksnių vertę. klypas PV ribojasi su Šaltkalvių g. ir priklauso dabartinio „Friedricho pasažo“ pastatų kompleksui (unikalus kodas 1188), kuris susiformavo dar XIX a. antroje pusėje. Pats sklype stovėjęs pastatas neišliko. Istoriniai duomenys. Teritorijoje į PR nuo enosios Danės kūrėsi dų gatvelės rajonas, minimas 1539–1540 m. mokesčių mokėtojų sąrašuose pavadinimu dų gatvelė (Ledergassen) (D. Elertas, Odų gatvelė – dų gatvelės priemiestis – Friedrichstadtas, Klaipėdos visuomenės ir miesto struktūros. AHUK, Klaipėda, 2005, t. XI, p. 147). Manoma, kad pavadinimas kilęs nuo čia veikusios odų raugyklos. Nėra tiksliai žinoma, kurioje vietoje yra buvusi Odų g., J. Zembrickis nurodo, kad raugyklos buvo greta Danės atšakos (J. Zembrickis, laipėdos karališkojo Prūsijos jūrų ir prekybos miesto istorija, Klaipėda, 2002, t. 1, p. 75). enosios Danės vagos liekanos aptiktos į ŠV nuo Didžiojo Vandens g., todėl kai kurie tyrinėtojai dų gatvelės vietą sieja su Didžiojo Vandens g. Priemiestyje miestiečių žemės buvo įteisintos 1571 m., kai hercogas Albrechtas rydrichas padovanojo jas miestui (D. Elertas, Odų gatvelė – Odų gatvelės priemiestis – Friedrichstadtas Klaipėdos visuomenės ir miesto struktūros. AHUK, laipėda, 2005 t. XI, p. 148). Priemiesčio V dalis priklausė pilies valdai, čia apsigyveno pilies tarnautojai ir kariai, o R dalyje buvo vykdoma ūkinė veikla (daržai, sandėliai). [...] [p. 354].

ENIn 2007 an excavation was conducted on the plot at Tiltų t. 26A in Klaipėda old town. During it a total area of 70 m², which was divided into 2 areas (1 and 2), was excavated. ragments of a building wall and foundation from the second half of the 19th century were discovered in the excavated area. The building was probably used for storage. The upper layers were levelling fill deposited in erecting the building and contained 17th–19th-century finds. A layer of grey–brown earth, which, on the basis of the finds, can be dated to the 17th century, was uncovered under this layer in area 1. In area 2 this layer had been destroyed in erecting a later building. In both areas a layer of peaty earth without any finds except a bark lid (area 1) began below it. This layer shows that the site was marshy. Under the layer of peaty earth, sterile soil that consists of grey potter’s clay began about 2 m below the ground surface. Many sherds of household pottery and animal bones and a smaller number of stove tile sherds were collected at the excavation site. 3 coins, 17th-century shillings were discovered in the 17th-century cultural layer in area 1. The investigation showed that the latest development that survived on the plot is from the second half of the 19th century. At that time a complex of storage – commercial buildings was erected at the site. The earlier 16th– 18th-century residential homes were concentrated near the more important Tiltų street while the plot on Šaltkalvių street was used for storage.
