Daržų gatvė

LT2022 m. Klaipėdoje, Daržų gatvėje, buvo atlikti detalieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. Dabartinė Daržų gatvė yra Klaipėdos miesto teritorijoje - istoriniame Odų (Frydricho) priemiestyje. Rašytiniuose šaltiniuose priemiestis minimas nuo XVI a. II pusės, bet tikslios priemiesčio ribos nėra žinomos. Odų gatvelės priemiestis 1692 m. buvo pavadintas Frydricho miestu, kuris gavo iš dalies savarankiško urbanistinio vieneto teises. 1722-1723 m. šis Klaipėdos priemiestis teisiškai buvo sujungtas su senamiesčio teritorija ir nuo to laiko laikytinas vientisu junginiu. XVIII a. viduryje Frydricho miesto planinė struktūra buvo beveik jau susiformavusi. Iki šiol Daržų gatvėje ir jos aplinkoje vykdant archeologinius tyrimus aptikti kultūriniai sluoksniai datuojami ne anksčiau nei XVII a. pradžios [p. 304].

ENIn 2022 an excavation (131 m2) and field survey were conducted on Daržų Street in Klaipeda. Five trenches totalling 84 m2 were excavated down to sterile soil and 2 areas totalling 47 m2 down to a predetermined depth at storm drain line sites. A survey was conducted in roughly 1513 m2 on Daržų Street, where the soil with removed to a depth of 0.5-1.1m. Both the excavation and survey revealed 0.50-1.5 m thick, early 17th-20th-century cultural layers. The oldest urban development remnants: an 18th-century stove base and the remains of a wooden building, were exposed at the streets NW kerb beside Daržų St. 18. The foundations of second half of the 19th - mid-20th-century buildings were discovered at the street’s NE kerb beside Daržų St. 18 and Sukilėlių St. 2. The investigation on Daržų Street yielded 0.50-1.5 m thick, early 17th-20th-century cultural layers containing contemporaneous finds and 18th - second half of the 20th-century structures: an 18th-century stove base and the remains of wooden buildings, the masonry foundations of second half of the 19th - mid-20th-century buildings, and second half of the 20th-century stone paving. The cultural layers contained various 17th-18th-century finds: sherds of decorated plates and bowls, earthenware pots and jars, green, black, and whiteglazed stove tiles, kaolin pipe stems and bowls, and a 1660-1665 Livonian shilling.
