LT2022 m. rugpjūtį Kauno mieste, ties Prieplaukos krantinės ir Muziejaus gatvės sankirta, tarp Nemuno ir Neries upių, buvo vykdyti žvalgomieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. Jie atlikti, nes aptariamoje vietoje planuota įrengti naują lietaus nuotekų trasą [p. 293].

ENA 2022 field evaluation (a 4 m2 test pit and the survey of a 7.5 m2 access pit) near the intersection of Muziejaus and Prieplaukos krantinės Streets in Kaunas Old Town revealed from a depth of 1.5-1.6 m an archaeologically valuable second half of the 16th-17th-century layer and yielded 50 finds: potsherds, glass shards, and a Prussian 10-mark coin. Sterile soil (greyish silt) was reached at a depth of 1.95-2 m. The survey to a predetermined depth of 3.9 m in the utility access pit to the NE of the test pit revealed only 20th-century mixed soil.
