Tyrimai Vilniaus gatvėje 2

LT2022 m. Daugų miestelyje (Alytaus r.), sklype Vilniaus g. 2, buvo atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai. Tirtas sklypas patenka į saugomą Daugų miestelio istorinės dalies (UK 17077) teritoriją [p. 276].

ENThe 2022 field evaluation (two 1 x 1 m test pits totalling 2 m2) at Vilniaus St. 2 in the town of Daugai (Alytus District, S Lithuania) yielded a 0.5-1 m thick, 15th(?) - 20th-century cultural layer. The test pit to the N of the building only had a 20th-century layer containing 16th-20th-century finds, and that to the W of the building, an 18th-century layer beginning at a depth of 50 cm with 15th(?) - 16th-century horizons below that, sterile soil being reached at a depth of 1 m.
