LT2022 m. Biržų senojo miesto vietoje (UK 3219), istorinėje miesto dalyje (UK 17073), vykdyti tęstiniai J. Bielinio ir Reformatų gatvių rekonstrukcijos darbai, kurių metu atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai (3 šurfai bendro 12 m2 ploto), detalieji tyrimai (3 perkasos bendro 82 m2 ploto) ir žvalgymai įrengiamų šaligatvių ir gatvių atodangų vietose (bendrame apie 2000 m2 plote). Bendrai tirtas 2094 m2 plotas [p. 274].
ENIn 2022, the reconstruction work on J. Bielinio and Reformatų Streets in Biržai (N Lithuania) continued with a field evaluation (3 test pits totalling 12 m2), an excavation (3 trenches totalling 82 m2), and surveys at the site of pavement and street surfacing (totalling roughly 2000 m2), a grand total of 2094 m2. Trench 9, at a depth of 55-70 cm, yielded a 10-15 cm thick, 18th-century cultural layer with sparse finds: household pottery, stove tile fragments, and isolated coins as well as part of a bone ear pick dated to the second half of the 18th century and a glass seal with a double-headed eagle. Under this was a sparse cultural layer dated to the second half of the 17th century and containing isolated sherds of household pottery and stove tiles characteristic of that period. Trenches 8 and 10, at a depth of 50-75 cm, yielded a second half of the 17th-century cultural layer containing sparse sherds of household pottery and stove tiles characteristic of that period, John II Casimir and Riga shillings, Test Pit 3, at a depth of 65-80 cm, a second half of the 17th-century cultural layer horizon with sparse sherds of household pottery and stove tiles as well as isolated coins.
