Summary / Abstract:

LT2022 m. atlikti žvalgymai Tryškių Švč. Trejybės bažnyčios statinių komplekso (UK 1681) Švč. Trejybės bažnyčios (UK 23663) pamatų tvarkymo vietose (Telšių r., Tryškių sen.). Žvalgytas bendras 142,6 m2 plotas [p. 245].

ENThe field survey (142.6 m2) in the vicinity of the Tryškiai Church of the Holy Trinity (Telšiai District, W Lithuania) identified layers of mixed fill soil in most of the surveyed area, sterile soil: yellowish brown fine sand, brownish clay, and clay loam at a depth of 0.5­1.2 m from the current surface, and, in the E part of the church, the contours of 5 grave pits at a depth of 1-1.2 m from the current surface. Based on the isolated finds from 2019 (coins, medals), which can be associated with destroyed burials, the burials can be dated to the 17th century.
