Baltadvario įtvirtinto dvaro Šiaurės vartų tyrimai

LT2021 m. UAB „Ateities statyba“ pradėjo Baltadvario įtvirtintos dvaro sodybos fragmentų Šiaurės vartų fragmentų paveldo tvarkybos darbus. Jų metu numatyta rekonstruoti apsauginio gaubto atramas ir atkasti rūsio dalį spėjamai įgriuvai užtaisyti. Archeologiniai tyrimai vykdyti 2022 m. lapkritį pagal papildytą ir pakeistą projektą, siekiant atkasti restauravimui rūsį su dviem spėjamomis skliauto įgriuvomis. Jų vietos, kaip manyta, turėjo būti po pylimo įdubimų vietomis. Tyrimų metu buvo ištirtos dvi perkasos pylime, į PR nuo Šiaurės vartų pastato PR sienos [p. 215-216].

ENIn 2022, at the Baltadvaris fortified manor site (eastern Lithuania, Molėtai district), two trenches were excavated in the rampart to the SE ofthe SE wall of the Northern Gatehouse, covering a total area of 96 m2. It was determined that the rampart in the investigated area was 9.6 m wide and up to 2.65 m high, and had been built in two phases. At a depth of 5.2 m from the top of the rampart (1.2 m below the base of the rampart), the walls of two barrel-vaulted cellar rooms were uncovered. The first room was 3.05 m long, the second was 6.5 m long and 3.3 m wide. A ventilation shaft around 1.4 m tall was also discovered, along with pottery sherds and stove and roof tile rubble.
