Bareišiūnų neįtvirtinta gyvenvietė

LT2022 m. Bareišiūnų kaime (Švenčionių r., Magūnų sen.) prieš tiesiant požeminį elektros kabelį ir statant elektros spintą saugomos Bareišiūnų neįtvirtintos gyvenvietės teritorijos V dalyje ir į R nuo jos ribos buvo atlikti detalieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. Detaliųjų tyrimų metu ištirta 14 x 1 m dydžio perkasa, o žvalgymai vykdyti 3 x 1 m dydžio prieduobės vietoje. Iš viso tyrimų metu ištirta 14,5 m2 ir žvalgyta 3 m2 teritorija [p. 76].

ENDetailed excavation and field survey in Bareišiūnai village (eastern Lithuanian, Švenčionys district) was carried out in 2022 at the location of a new electric cable and electrical cabinet. This excavation covered an area of 14.5 m2, and the survey involved a 3 m2 area. The excavation revealed an archaeological layer (20-45 cm thick) with a small quantity of hand-thrown potsherds. Brush strokes were observed on some ofthe better-preserved sherds. The evidence places the layer somewhere in the range of the 13th century BC to the 3rd century AD. The surveyed area yielded no evidence of archaeological deposits.
