Malūnų aplinka Pakruojo dvaro sodyboje

LTVadovaujantis „Projektavimo ir restauravimo institutas“ 2008 m. projektu „Pakruojo dvaro sodybos pritaikymas turizmo reikmėms“ IĮ „Senų senovė“ atliko Pakruojo dvaro sodybos (G104KP) (Pakruojo r.) vandens ir vėjo malūnų, malūnininko namo ir karčiamos aplinkos žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrimus [p. 457].

ENIn 2008 an evaluation was conducted at seven sites on the grounds of Pakruojis manor (Pakruojis District): beside the foundation of the miller’s house (test pits 1 and 2, a total area of 6 m2), on the windmill side of the house (test pit 3, an area of 4 m2), inside the inn (test pits 4 and 5, a total area of 3 m2), and outside the inn (test pits 6 and 7, a total area of 3.6 m2). A bronze pot was found in test pit 2 near the miller’s house while the stone foundation of an older inn, stove tiles, and pottery were unearthed inside the inn. The finds date to the 17th century.
