Tyrinėjimai Vytauto gatvėje

LTVeliuonoje (Jurbarko r.), Vytauto gatvėje 2008 m. tyrinėtos 2 vietos. Nors Veliuonos miestelis žinomas nuo XV a., jame iki šiol vykdyta labai nedaug archeologinių tyrinėjimų [p. 392].

ENIn 2008 an evaluation was conducted on two Vytauto Street plots in Veliuona (Jurbarkas District). 13 m2 was excavated at Vytauto St. 17 and a 40–110 cm thick cultural layer that was formed at a garden site no earlier than the late 17th – early 18th century was discovered. It contained four wall sherds from vessels dating to the second half of the 17th–19th century. 6 m2 were excavated at Vytauto St. 29 and a 70–110 cm thick cultural layer formed from water-borne soil and later at a garden site was found. It contained three potsherds dating to the late 17th–19th century.
