LT2008 m. UKM vykdė tyrinėjimus dviejose Utenos senamiesčio (A1802) vietose [p. 390].
ENDuring an evaluation at Bažnyčios St. 13 in Utena, one trench and five test pits (a total of 13.48 m2) were excavated. In trench 1 (9.1 m2), a 0.2–1 m thick cultural layer from the 17th – early 20th century was found in an area of 7.1 m2. In an area of 2 m2 it had been destroyed through digging. A 71 cm thick cultural layer from the 17th – early 20th century was found in test pits and (a total of 1.8 m2). A destroyed cultural layer from the 17th – early 20th century was found in test pit III (0.78 m2). Sherds of wheel thrown clay, faience, and porcelain vessels, stove tile sherds, and glass shards were found in test pits I–III. The soil in test pits IV–V (a total of 1.8 m2) had been dug up and contained no finds. Test pit 1 (1.9 x 1.5 m, 2.85 m2) was excavated on Gedimino Street, a cultural layer over 1.75 m thick was found and dated to the late 19th – early 20th centuries on the basis of the finds.
