Sklypas tarp Kęstučio aikštės 4 ir 6

LT2008 m. vykdyti žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai Ukmergėje, žemės sklype tarp Kęstučio aikštės 4 ir 6. Prieškariu šiame sklype stovėjo pastatai, kurie II Pasaulinio karo metu buvo sugriauti, o pokariu išlyginus griuvėsius, įrengtas skveras. Šio skvero teritorijoje 992,65 m² dydžio plote buvo ištirti 6 šurfai (1–6), 2 x 2 m dydžio kiekvienas, iš viso ištiriant 24 m² plotą [p. 390].

ENSix test pits (1–6) (a total of 24 m2) were excavated on the plot of land between Kęstučio Sq. 4 and 6 in Ukmergė and a 1.4–1.5 m thick cultural layer, which consists of two horizons: a lower 17th–18th-century and an upper 18th–20th-century horizon, was discovered. The horizons were dated on the basis of stove tiles and pottery, of which 70 pieces were collected.
