LTTrakų senamiestyje (A1783), Karaimų g. 54A vykdytų archeologinių tyrinėjimų tikslas – ištirti žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu būsimo pastato vietoje aptiktą kultūrinį sluoksnį. Iškasta 116 m² dydžio perkasa padalyta į 2 plotus, tarp kurių buvo palikta 2 m pločio kontrolinė juosta [p. 383].
ENOne 116 m2 trench divided into two areas, between which a 2 m wide balk was left, were excavated at the site of a future building at Karaimų St. 54A, Trakai. A 0.2–0.5 m thick cultural layer with abundant finds, especially 17th-century stove tiles and pottery, was recorded in area 1. An early 17th-century stove tile with a complex coat-of-arms, a clay spindle whorl, and a silver plated copper alloy spoon with a floral design were discovered among them. The layer dates to the late 16th–18th century. A 0.4–1.1 m thick black layer that started at the ground’s surface and contained 17th–20th-century finds: household pottery, stove tiles, and metal artefacts was recorded in area 2.
