Žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai ir tyrinėjimai Barboros Radvilaitės gatvėje 7

LT2009 m. atlikti archeologiniai tyrinėjimai Vilniuje, Barboros Radvilaitės gatvėje 7, pastato PV korpuso rūsyje, kuriame rekonstrukcijos metu buvo žeminamas grindų lygis. Iš viso ištirtas 136 m2 plotas. Darbai vykdyti dviem etapais. Pirmuoju etapu, siekiant nustatyti kultūrinio sluoksnio storį, pobūdį bei rūsio pamatų įgilinimą, atlikti žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrinėjimai – iškasti 3 archeologiniai šurfai. Antruoju darbų etapu, žeminant rūsio grindų lygį, vykdyti išsamūs archeologiniai tyrinėjimai [p. 393].

ENIn 2009 an evaluation and excavation were conducted in the basement at the SW wing of the building at Barboros Radvilaitės Street 7. An area of 136 m2 was investigated. During the investigation three test pits were excavated and later, in lowering the level of the basement’s floor, a full excavation was conducted. During the excavation a cultural layer up to 1.6 m thick that was formed in the 17th–20th centuries was recorded. A brick floor dating to the 20th century was also recorded. 18th-century stone paving and fragments of a 17th-century masonry wall were found.
