Tyrinėjimai Anykščių senamiestyje

LT2009 m. vykdyti archeologiniai žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai bei archeologiniai žvalgymai Anykščių senamiestyje (unikalus kodas 17147), J. Biliūno gatvėje 5, pastato aplinkos rekonstrukcijos ir tvarkymo vietoje, bei Taikos gatvės atkarpoje tarp Vilniaus ir V. Kudirkos gatvių, būsimų lietaus nuotekų tinklų vietoje [p. 317].

ENIn 2009, an excavation and survey were conducted at the future site of a storm drain network at J. Biliūno Street 5 and on the segment of Taikos Street between Vilniaus and V. Kudirkos Streets in Anykščiai old town (East Lithuania). 3 m2 were excavated at J. Biliūno Street 5 and about 100 m2 surveyed. During the evaluation it was established that the cultural layer had been destroyed in the majority of the surveyed area. A 17th–20th-century cultural layer was discovered at a depth of 20–70 cm at the house’s entrance. About 130 m2 were excavated in the Taikos Street segment. An 18th – early 20th century cultural layer up to 90 cm thick was discovered in the N part of Taikos Street (up to Šaltupio Street).
