Šventųjų Pranciškaus Asyžiečio, Bernardino Sieniečio (Bernardinų) bei Šv. Onos bažnyčių ir bernardinų vienuolyno statinių ansamblis Vilniuje

LT2009 m. vasarą APC „Antiqua“ atliko archeologinius tyrinėjimus Vilniuje, Maironio gatvėje 6, 8, 10, Šventųjų Pranciškaus Asyžiečio, Bernardino Sieniečio (Bernardinų) bei Šv. Onos bažnyčių ir bernardinų vienuolyno statinių ansamblio teritorijoje (776). Jie vykdyti už Šv. Onos bažnyčios varpinės, esančios Kristaus laiptų koplyčios viduje. Po antrame pastato aukšte esančia koplyčia, į kurią veda vadinamieji Kristaus laiptai, įrengtos keturios rūsio patalpos. Bendras tyrimų plotas siekė 55,6 m² [p. 281].

ENIn 2009 the APC conducted excavations on the grounds of the building complex of the Churches of St. Francis of Assisi, St Bernardine of Siena (Bernardine), and St. Ann and the Bernardine monastery at Maironio Street 6, 8, and 10 in Vilnius. Four basement rooms with a total excavation area of 55.6 m2 were excavated inside the Holy Steps Chapel (Chapel of the Stairs of Christ). 23 undisturbed or partially destroyed inhumations were discovered in three rooms. The individuals had been buried at this site in the first half of the 17th century prior to the chapel’s construction. Some of the bones had probably come from other places in the churchyard. No finds were discovered in surveying 14 m2 near the foundations of the old sacristy’s E wall during the renovation of the foundation.
