ENAlthough this reviewer would like to criticise the title of this volume, because after decades of research the anti-Soviet partisan warfare in Lithuania is not really unknown, we are still dealing with an interesting publication offering several new insights. This volume contains an introduction, three papers on the actual partisan war in Lithuania, three articles on the memory of the conflict, several illustrations, a glossary of terms and abbreviations, and an index. The glossary is definitely needed, because a couple of Lithuanian terms are used repeatedly, and the reviewer had to look them up again and again. Most of the papers are well grounded in international literature. Unfortunately, sometimes typos make reading it more complicated.
