LTSklypas Ligoninės g. 7 patenka į Vilniaus senojo miesto vietos su priemiesčiais (UK 25504) teritoriją. Sklypo PV dalyje yra XVI a. pradžioje statytos Vilniaus miesto gynybinės sienos liekanos (miesto gynybinių įtvirtinimų liekanos UK 39). 2011 m. žvalgomieji tyrinėjimai atlikti neišlikusio pastato PV korpuso vietoje. Buvo numatyta ištirti tris 2x2 m dydžio šurfus. Visuose šurfuose aptiktos anksčiau sklype stovėjusių XVIII–XIX a. statytų, vėliau rekonstruotų pastatų mūrinių konstrukcijų liekanos. ENAn excavation was conducted in a plot alongside the remains of the city’s defensive wall in the W part of Vilnius old town. There are plans to recreate the courtyard structures that existed here prior to the Second World War. The remains of former buildings were discovered in all three of the test pits excavated at this site. It was determined that the cultural layer in the SW part of the plot is thin at 1.2–1.4 m. The earliest finds discovered during the excavation date to the 14th or 15th century, but mostly 17th–19th century finds were encountered. Household pottery (cooking pot) fragments predominate among them.
