Užupio gatvė 38A, 40

LT2012 m. spalio mėnesį Užupio g. 38A ir 40 APC atliko žvalgomuosius tyrimus. Jie buvo reikalingi ruošiant sklypo (550 m2) Užupio g. 38A pastatų ir kiemo rekonstrukcijos projektą. Iškasti du 2x2 m dydžio šurfai, ištirtas bendras 8 m² plotas. Žvalgomieji tyrimai atlikti ruošiant gretimo sklypo (1226 m²) Užupio g. 40 pastatų ir kiemo rekonstrukcijos projektinius pasiūlymus. Iškasti trys 1,5x1,5 m dydžio šurfai, ištirtas 7,5 m2 plotas. Prie Užupio gatvės esanti sklypo P dalis užstatyta mūriniais XIX–XX a. statiniais. 2,1x1,5 m dydžio šurfas 2 iki 1,05 m gylio kastas kiemo ŠV dalyje. Pradėto kasti šurfo Š dalyje aptiktos suverstos XX a. šiukšlės-statybinės griuvenos, buitinės atliekos. Šiukšlės piltos ant šlaito siekiant išplėsti kiemo teritoriją bei formuojant naują kalvos šlaitą. Nukasus 80 cm storio šiukšlių sluoksnį, šurfas išplėstas į P pusę. P ir centrinėje šurfo dalyse fiksuotas į Š, kalvos šlaito link žemėjantis 35–70 cm storio pilkos žemės, smulkių griuvenų, retų degėsiukų sluoksnis su keliomis XVII–XIX a. glazūruotos ir neglazūruotos buitinės keramikos šukėmis. ENDuring the field evaluation at Užupio st. 38A in Vilnius, 8 m2 were excavated. A 20–90 cm thick cultural layer, which had formed during the 19th–20th centuries, was recorded in test pits 1–2. A pit with construction rubble was discovered in test pit 2. Soil mixed with construction waste was brought in to create the hill’s (courtyard) terrace and the hill’s slope. Isolated and chance 16th–19th century finds were discovered. During the field evaluation at Užupio st. 40 in Vilnius, 7.5 m2 were excavated. A 1.1 m thick cultural layer with 16th–20th century finds was recorded in test pit 1, which was excavated in the S part of the plot. Fill layers of soil and rubbish formed in creating the hill’s slope and extending the courtyard terrace in the second half of the 20th century were recorded in test pits 2–3, which were excavated near the hill’s N slope. Isolated and chance 17th–19th century finds were discovered.
