Tyrimai Užupio gatvėje

LT2012 m. Vilniuje, dviejuose Užupio gatvės sklypuose vykdyti archeologiniai tyrimai. Užupio g. 22 sklypo vidiniame kieme vykdyti detalieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. Jų metu tirta viena 70 m2 dydžio perkasa, kasta kiemo ŠV dalyje, prie V korpuso R sienos, būsimo priestato vietoje. Perkasoje aptiktas 2,8-4,7 m storio kultūrinis sluoksnis. Jos R dalyje, 1,9 m gylyje, atidengtas XIX a. 2,2 m ilgio, 50–90 cm pločio ir 0,7–1,1 m aukščio medinio pastato pamatas, mūrytas iš akmenų (30–50x20-40x15–20 cm dydžio), rištų kalkių skiediniu. V dalyje, 1,3 m gylyje fiskuotas 80 cm aukščio, 1,6 m ilgio ir 1,3 m pločio XIX–XX a. pradžios krosnies pado fragmentas. Užupio g. 40A vykdyti žvalgomieji tyrimai. Jų metu ištirtas vienas 2x2 m dydžio šurfas (4 m2), fiksuotas 2,1 m storio 10 horizontų kultūrinis sluoksnis. Šurfe 20 cm gylyje aptikta XIX–XX a. akmenų grindinio dalis, 60 cm gylyje atidengti du XIX–XX a. pradžios pamato fragmentai, tarp kurių buvo 60 cm tarpas. Šioje vietoje jis buvo išardytas tiesiant vandentiekį-2,1 m gylyje atkastas vandentiekio vamzdis. Viršutiniame šurfo sluoksnyje rasta XIX–XX a. buitinės ir statybinės keramikos fragmentų, stiklo šukių, metalinių dirbinių ir viena XX a. plomba. Vandentiekio tiesimo metu suformuotame sluoksnyje rasta XIX–XX a. II pusės radinių kartu su vienu XVII a. koklio fragmentu. Prie vandens bokšto fiksuotas jo pamatų įrenginėjimo metu susidaręs sluoksnis su XIX–XX a. buitinės ir statybinės keramikos fragmentais bei pavieniais XVII a. radiniais. [...] [p. 533, 535].

ENIn 2012, excavations were conducted on two Užupio street plots in Vilnius. A 70 m2 trench was excavated in the courtyard of the building at Užupio st. 22. This trench contained mixed layers with 17th–20th century and isolated 16th century finds. A stone foundation from a 19th century wooden building was unearthed at a depth of 1.9 m and a fragment of a 19th–20th century stove at 1.3 m. In addition, two utility trenches were surveyed. The first (10 m longx2.5 m wide) contained a layer with 19th century finds and sterile soil (sand) was reached at a depth of 2.6–2.7 m. The second (17 m longx2.5 m wide) contained a 0.5–1 m thick layer with 19th–20th century finds. One 2x2 m test pit was excavated at Užupio st. 40A. A fragment of 19th–20th century stone paving were discovered at a depth of 20 cm and two fragments of a 19th early 20th century foundation at a depth of 60 cm. The test pit’s upper layer contained 19th–20th century structural ceramics and household pottery and a 20th century seal. A layer formed during the laying of a water line contained 19th second half of the 20th century finds together with one fragment of a 17th century stove tile. A layer formed during the creation of foundations near the water tower contained 19th–20th century structural ceramics and household pottery and isolated 17th century finds. A layer of black soil with sherds from one 17th century (?) pot was found at a depth of 25 cm.
