Žvalgomieji tyrimai Karaimų gatvėje 39

LT2012 m. lapkričio mėnesį vykdyti archeologiniai žvalgomieji tyrimai Trakų senojo mies- to vietoje (UK 27125), Karaimų g. 39. Sklype planuojama nutiesti vandentiekio (13 m ilgio) ir buitinės nuotekynės (25 m ilgio) atkarpas. Prieš šiuos darbus buvo ištirti 4 šurfai. Trijų šurfų (1–2, 4) dydis 1,5x1,5 m, ketvirto (3)-2,4x1,2 m. Iš viso tyrinėtas 9,63 m2 bendras plotas. Sklype Karaimų g. 39 viršutiniai horizontai susiformavę XX a., vykdant vandentiekio bei kanalizacijos įrengimo darbus bei rūsio prie pastato Karaimų g. 41 statybos metu. Vertingas kultūrinis sluoksnis, datuojamas XVII a., fiksuotas centrinėje sklypo dalyje, šurfe 3. Apatinis juodos šlapios žemės horizontas, fiksuotas šurfuose 3 ir 4, pagal vieną ąsočio fragmentą hipotetiškai gali būti datuojamas XVII a. Iš viso tyrimų metu surinkti 46 vienetai archeologiškai vertingų radinių-buitinės bei statybinės keramikos fragmentų, vienas geležinis dirbinys. [...] [p. 435-437].

ENIn 2012, a field evaluation was conducted at Karaimų st. 39 in Trakai old town (27125). A water (13 m long) and household sewerage (25 m long) segment was planned to be laid on the plot. Prior to this work, four test pits (a total of 9.63 m2) were excavated. The upper horizons on the plot at Karaimų st. 39 were formed in the 20th century in conducting the water and sewerage line installation work and during the construction of the basement to the building at Karaimų st. 41. A valuable cultural layer dating to the 17th century was recorded in test pit 3 in the central part of the plot. The lower wet, black soil horizon recorded in test pits 3 and 4, on the basis of one pitcher fragment, can hypothetically also be dated to the 17th century. A total of 46 archaeologically valuable finds were collected during the investigation: fragments of structural ceramics and household pottery and one iron artefact.
