Žvalgomieji tyrimai Klaipėdoje

LTKlaipėdos senojo miesto vietos su priemiesčiais (UK 27077) teritorijos PR dalyje 3 vietose 2013 m. vykdyti žvalgomieji tyrimai. Visi jie vyko dėl numatomos vykdyti ūkinės veiklos. Vertingiausi sluoksniai aptikti šurfe 2, kastame 2,35 m į Š nuo malūno pastato. Apie 50 cm storio rudo priemolio kultūriniame sluoksnyje 4,6 m2 dydžio šurfe rasti 92 koklių fragmentai, 853 puodų šukės bei kitokių radinių. Sluoksnį datuoti padeda jo apatinėje dalyje rastas Prūsijos Georgo Vilhelmo šilingas (1623–1633) bei tik vienas olandiškos pypkės fragmentas (gausiau jos Klaipėdoje plito nuo XVIII a.). Kituose šurfuose buvo daugiau XVIII–XIX a. sluoksniai, labiau į P nuo malūno suformuoti tuo laikotarpiu čia pilant įvairias šiukšles iš miesto. [...] [p. 325, 327].

ENIn 2013, small-scale excavations were conducted at three places in Klaipėda old town. Five test pits (a total of 5 m2) were excavated at Didžiosios Vandens st. 28 and late 18th–19th centuries fill layers with contemporaneous potsherds, stove tile fragments, pipe fragments, glass shards, and roof tile fragments were discovered. 20 test pits (a total of 78.47 m2) were excavated on the plot at Tilžės st. 4. A 0.3–2 m thick 17th–19th centuries cultural layer with abundant contemporaneous potsherds, stove tile fragments, glass shards, and other isolated finds was discovered in the test pits closer to the street. Only isolated finds were discovered in the test pits excavated deep in the plot. Five trenches (a total of 20.8 m2) were excavated in the Baltikalnio street district but no remains of the cemetery that existed there in the 18th early 20th centuries were found.
