Kolūkinės sistemos įtvirtinimas ir raida Joniškio rajone

LT1947-1949 m. smulkūs kolūkiai kūrėsi kiekvienoje respublikos apylinkėje, o kai kuriose jų buvo net po 2-4. Kolektyviniai ūkiai iš valstiečių paėmė daugiausia nepritaikytus stambiai gamybai pastatus, žemės ūkio inventorių ir padargus. Sukolekty- vintame ūkyje tebuvo trečdalis visų gyvulių. Trūko specialistų ir technikos. Gamyba vystėsi lėtai. Pirmieji kolūkiai jau buvo sovietinės ūkiskaitinės žemės ūkio įmonės, tačiau dar labai smulkios ir silpnos ekonominiu požiūriu. Pagrindinė jų veiklos sfera - augalininkystės bei gyvulininkystės produktų gamyba [p. 29].

ENThe fastest expansion rates of collective farms in Joniškis district were observed in August 1950, when 111 collective farms merged into 37. On January 8,1951,99.9 per cent of the peasants of the district entered collective farms, and the expansion process was over. The process of creating and consolidating the collective farm system was regulated by party and Soviet bodies, divided into several stages according to their competence. During the period of the expansion of the collective farms, the problem of kulaks (rich farmers) remained, the lists of which were compiled even in 1953. Since 1950, individual peasants indebted to the state were also included into them. The large collective farms of Joniškis district specialized in meat and milk production, and the results of their work rose sharply. The year 1992 can be considered the end of Soviet agriculture in Joniškis district.
