Luokesų ežero gyvenvietė I

LT2014 m. buvo tęsiami Luokesų ežero gyvenvietės I povandeniniai archeologiniai tyrimai, kurių metu ištirta 2x2 m dydžio perkasa 9 (bendras plotas-4 m2). Tiriamas plotas išmatuotas gyvenvietės V pakraštyje, netoli povandeninio šlaito, vietoje, kurioje pirminio inventorizavimo metu (ATL 2000 metais, V., 2002, p. 229–231) vertikalūs poliai nebuvo užfiksuoti. Tyrimais buvo siekiama išsiaiškinti, ar šioje teritorijoje yra išlikęs archeologinis sluoksnis bei nustatyti gyvenvietės liekanų erozijos laipsnį. [...] [p. 545].

ENIn 2014, the underwater investigation of Luokesai Pile settlement I (Molėtai district, East Lithuania) continued with the excavation of 2x2 m trench 9 (4 m2) near the underwater slope on the settlement’s W edge. Wooden construction elements arranged in several layers and vertical piles were recorded in the trench. Two plaited strap (rope) fragments, a rope knot, a bark float, a complete 1.21 m long wooden paddle with its handle, sherds of hand built pottery with smooth and brushed surfaces, hazelnut shells, animal bones, and flint flakes were discovered during the investigation. It was determined in 2014 that the settlement’s cultural layer continues, although not at the same intensity, beyond the vertical piles recorded in the first year (2000) on the settlement’s W edge.
