ENIn 2014, a field evaluation (six 1.5x1 m test pits, a total of 9 m2 ) was conducted in the 0.2554 ha plot with 20th-century structures at Liepkalnio st. 3, Vilnius. The 2.2–2.5 m thick fill cultural layer recorded in the test pits contained 17th-20th century finds: 10 fragments of glazed panel stove tiles (Blattkacheln); a roof tile fragment; 102 sherds of household pottery; an iron heel plate; a hangable bronze Orthodox cross; 4 non-ferrous buttons; a copper alloy furniture lock escutcheon, a copper alloy thimble; 2 lead musket balls; and 10 coins. Two stone pavings were recorded. The first is the former 20th century courtyard surface at a depth of 45–50 cm. The second, at a depth of 1.45–1.50 m, is paving made from massive stones that can be dated to the 17th century, but its precise dating was hindered by the lack of data as there were no finds in the layers near it.
