Žvalgomieji tyrimai S. Konarskio gatvėje 4B

LT2014 m. Vilniaus senamiesčio (UK 16073) apsaugos zonos teritorijoje, sklype S. Konarskio g. 4B, atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai 35 m ilgio dujų įvado trasos vietoje (11 m ilgio jos atkarpa tiesta uždaru būdu). Sklypas yra Vilniaus istorinio Naujamiesčio priemiesčio V pakraštyje. Apie seniau jame stovėjusius pastatus duomenų nėra, XIX–XX a. sandūros kariniame topografiniame žemėlapyje sklype ar netoli jo yra pažymėtas garo varikliu varomas malūnas (rusiškai Пар Мук-Паровая мукомольная мельница). Artimiausioje sklypo aplinkoje archeologiniai tyrimai iki šiol nevykdyti. Žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu ištirti du 1x1 m dydžio šurfai. Juose fiksuoti permaišyti ar supiltiniai sluoksniai. Šurfe 1,65 cm gylyje atidengtas išlietas betonas. Abiejuose šurfuose aptikta pavienių XIX–XX a. pradžiai būdingų radinių, gyvulių kaulų. Todėl nutarta kasant vamzdžio stūmimo prieduobes ir tranšėjas atlikti žvalgymus. [...] [p. 410].

ENIn 2014, an evaluation was conducted at the site of a gas service line route on the plot at S. Konarskio st. 4B in the Vilnius old town protection zone. Two 1x1 m test pits were excavated and about 23.5 m2 monitored during earthwork. Mixed and fill layers were recorded to a depth of 0.7–1.2 m. Below this, 50–70 cm thick layers with rubble, finds characteristic of the 19th-early 20th century (mass produced stove tiles, brick and roof tile fragments, sherds of household pottery and faience plates, glass bottle shards, fragments of other vessels, and metal artefacts), and animal bones were unearthed. A roughly 2.2 m wide and up to 2.2 m deep hole/rubbish pit ?, which contained most of the finds, was recorded. Several more precisely datable finds allow the time the rubbish was created to be defined as the second half of the 19th-early 20th century.
